Final Exam overview of the legal, ethical, and related statutory and regulatory environment in which businesses, organizations, and individuals within them function. After completion of this course, students will be able to understand the general structure of the court systems in the United States, describe the alternative means of resolving disputes and their respective advantages and disadvantages, evaluate the frameworks for regulatory compliance and corporate social responsibility, examine the principle areas of business law, and understand intellectual property rights.
Final Exam will include defining business ethics, examining systems of ethical reasoning, the goals of values management, ethical decision making in the business environment, and fundamentals of corporate social responsibility. Ethical standards and social responsibility complete the final layer of the exam.
