Understanding their target market means a company knows who to reach out to for answers such as what their customers value and expect from their company. Knowing what the competition offers will help a business know what they need to offer and how they can do it better than others in the same market. Companies must know their limitations and what they can realistically provide their customers without causing them to take a loss or experience a deficit. Thoughts?
